This easy-to-install mounting surface fits the Heckler & Koch MP, as well as the SP89, HK93, HK91 and all related clones. All the tools needed to attach this Midwest Industries top Picatinny rail mount to your firearm are included, and it allows users to mount optics, lights, lasers and other accessories to their gun without having to remove the OEM handguard. The mount is machined from 6061 aluminum and treated with a hardcoat-anodized finish. The piece is made in the USA, which makes it 922r compliant, and is covered by the company's lifetime warranty.
Midwest Industries warns that its top Picatinny rail mount is designed to fit 9mm receivers only, and there may be issues in fitting the same mount on .40-cal. and 10mm receivers. The total weight of the mount is 3.3 ounces.
