The Rigger EDC brings the same design and craftsmanship we instilled in the Limited Edition version of the Rigger. It includes the same uncompromised functionality, intelligent design, and exceptional ergonomics, but with different materials that were chosen to make it more accessible to a broader audience while maximizing the Rigger's functionality.
The Rigger EDC is an aluminum-frame locking knife made in the USA. It features a double-locking aluminum frame that’s light but strong, creating a slim, agile handle for precise and clean cuts. The blade is a modified Wharncliffe design forged from S35VN for excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance. The Rigger EDC also includes our innovative secondary locking feature (SLF) for added security and safety when using the knife; the precision-machined frame prevents accidental blade closure during demanding use. The SLF can be easily disengaged with your thumb--with or without gloves--allowing quick, controlled blade closure. The jimped blade easily deploys with a flipper and locks with a clear click. The end of the blade features an aggressive point for precise work and the body includes a thicker spine for added strength.
The aluminum pocket clip features a hollow pocket clip screw for lanyards and can be removed or reversed with a slotted screwdriver for easy disassembly and cleaning. The sleek, modern profile ensures that it rides comfortably in most any pocket. At 7.6 inches when open and 4.5 inches when closed, it’s an ideal size for everyday carry while maintaining the heft to handle demanding field tasks.
