GLOCK G19 Gen5 Compact | 9 mm Luger
The GLOCK 19 Gen5 pistol in 9 mm Luger is ideal for a more versatile role due to its reduced dimensions. The new frame design without finger grooves still allows to instantly customize its grip to accommodate any hand size by mounting the different back straps.
The slide has the superior GLOCK hard-surface nDLC finish in non-reflective black. It comes with front serrations (FS) which provide an additional tactile surface choice when manipulating the slide giving the operator positive traction even with wet or sweaty hand.
The reversible magazine catch and ambidextrous slide stop lever make it ideal for left and right-handed shooters.
Every G19 Gen5 features the match-grade GLOCK Marksman Barrel (GMB) delivering increased accuracy with polygonal rifling and an improved barrel crown.
- Front serrations (FS): To provide a different look and an additional tactile surface.
- nDLC finish on barrel and slide: GLOCK‘s nDLC provides tougher, more durable protection than previously used finish. The nDLC finish increases protection against corrosion and scratching and improves the ability of the pistol to function in adverse conditions
- Ambidextrous slide stop lever: The ambidextrous slide stop lever makes it easier for gun owners to quickly, safely and comfortably manipulate the slide whether they are left-handed or right-handed.
- GLOCK Marksman Barrel: The GLOCK Marksman Barrel (GMB) features enhanced barrel rifling based on the proven polygonal barrel design which delivers improved accuracy.
- Versatility by removal of the finger grooves: Comfortable grip to a wider range of consumers, regardless of their finger size. For the perfect grip the Gen4 proven rough textured frame surface is present on the frame. It was designed to enhance grip traction, without being too aggressive.
- Safe Action® System: Three independent safeties (trigger safety, firing pin safety and the drop safety) disengage sequentially as the trigger is pulled and automatically reengage when the trigger is released.
- Safety advantage through orange follower: The orange follower allows the shooter to clearly see if there are any rounds left in the magazine or not.
- Magazine capacity: Depending on caliber and size of the pistol model high capacity magazines are available
- Customizable frame size: Every GLOCK Gen5 comes with backstraps in two sizes each one with and without beavertail. The multiple backstrap frame allows the users to change the circumference of the grip to fit their individual hand size.
- Gen4 RTF - Rough textured frame: The Gen4 proven rough textured frame surface is present on the Gen5 frame as well. It was designed to enhance grip traction, without beeing too aggressive.
- Reversible magazine catch: The magazine catch of the Gen5 frame is reversible and enlarged towards the rear of the pistol. The reversible magazine catch is more user friendly to the shooter's reach and allows them to switch the catch to the left or right side of the pistol.
- Mounting rail: Mounting rails in front of the trigger guard of all competition, standard, and compact frames allow mounting accessories such as tactical lights and lasers.
- Polymer frame: The durable and lightweight polymer frame absorbs recoil due to the dampening characteristics of the polymer.
- Loaded chamber indicator: Visible and palpable indicator as part of the extractor to show whether there is a cartridge in the chamber.

Gaston Glock, an Austrian engineer, successful businessman, and manufacturer of injection molding parts and components, founded GLOCK Ges.m.b.H in 1963. In the 1970s, development and production start-up of the first military products began to take place with the development of a line of knives, grenade casings and machine gun belt links. In the early 1980's, the semi-automatic GLOCK service pistol was born in response to meet the needs of the Austrian military. It's polymer frame and the developed SAFE ACTION® System revolutionized the pistol market
