GLOCK G48 MOS | 9 mm Luger
Chambered in 9 mm Luger the G48 MOS features slide cuts designed for specific micro-optics and the GLOCK Mounting rail slim for mounting accessories. The perfect tactical partner with increased concealability.
The G48 MOS is of similar length and height as the compact size G19 but has the well-known GLOCK Slimline design with the reduced width of the pistol for perfect carrying comfort.
The frame features the GLOCK Mounting rail slim for mounting tactical accessories and incorporates elements of the Slimline series such the short trigger distance, a frame with a built-in beavertail, a reversible magazine catch and the incredibly accurate, match-grade GLOCK Marksman Barrel (GMB) of the Gen5 series. The G48 Rail also features precision-milled front serrations.
The slim (01) magazine is built in reliable GLOCK style, it has an orange magazine follower for higher visibility and is specifically developed to ensure the 10rds magazine capacity.
Note: The G48 with the Modular Optic System (MOS) does not come with adapter plates.
- Modular optic system - MOS: The G43X MOS features slide cuts designed for specific micro-optics. The modular optic system (MOS) configuration offers the possibility to simplify the mounting of popular optical sights.
- Front serrations (FS): To provide a different look and an additional tactile surface.
- nDLC finish on slide: The all-black model G43X Rail comes with a nDLC slide finish. This finish provides the same tough, durable protection like the GLOCK Gen5-models. The nDLC finish increases protection against corrosion and scratching and improves the ability of the pistol to function in adverse conditions. All GLOCK metal parts are subject to a surface treatment making them corrosion and salt water resistant.
- Ambidextrous slide stop lever: The ambidextrous slide stop lever makes it easier for gun owners to quickly, safely and comfortably manipulate the slide whether they are left-handed or right-handed.
- GLOCK Marksman Barrel: The GLOCK Marksman Barrel (GMB) features enhanced barrel rifling based on the proven polygonal barrel design which delivers improved accuracy.
- Polymer frame with built-in beavertail design and special grip texture: The frame of the slimline models has a built-in beavertail design, which allows the shooter to aquire a high and tight grip. The durable and lightweight polymer frame absorbs recoil due to dampening characteristics of the polymer. The slimline RTF was designed to enhance grip traction without beeing too aggressive.
- Safe Action® System: Three independent safeties (trigger safety, firing pin safety and the drop safety) disengage sequentially as the trigger is pulled and automatically reengage when the trigger is released.
- Magazine capacity: Depending on caliber and size of the pistol model high capacity magazines are available
- Reversible magazine catch: The magazine catch of the Gen5 frame is reversible and enlarged towards the rear of the pistol. The reversible magazine catch is more user friendly to the shooter's reach and allows them to switch the catch to the left or right side of the pistol.
- GLOCK Mounting Rail slim: The frame has an integrated rail in front of the trigger guard. This allows mounting of accessories such as tactical lights and lasers
- Polymer frame: The durable and lightweight polymer frame absorbs recoil due to the dampening characteristics of the polymer.
- Loaded chamber indicator: Visible and palpable indicator as part of the extractor to show whether there is a cartridge in the chamber.

Gaston Glock, an Austrian engineer, successful businessman, and manufacturer of injection molding parts and components, founded GLOCK Ges.m.b.H in 1963. In the 1970s, development and production start-up of the first military products began to take place with the development of a line of knives, grenade casings and machine gun belt links. In the early 1980's, the semi-automatic GLOCK service pistol was born in response to meet the needs of the Austrian military. It's polymer frame and the developed SAFE ACTION® System revolutionized the pistol market
