SureFire has rewritten the rulebook on versatility with the SOCOM762-MINI2, the smallest and lightest 7.62 mm (.308 caliber) option available in SureFire’s class-dominating line of SOCOM suppressors. Primarily designed for 16-inch or longer barrels, the SOCOM762-MINI2 is light and compact, but it delivers a tremendous reduction in sound signature, a testament to the strict design, engineering and manufacturing standards applied to every SureFire SOCOM suppressor. It’s precisely why we emerged victorious in the US Special Operations Command’s (SOCOM) brutally demanding suppressor trials.
Specifically designed for use with 7.62 mm (.308 caliber) weapon systems, the SOCOM762-MINI2 is carefully constructed of advanced high-temperature Inconel and stainless steel. Precision CNC laser-welding is employed to give all of our suppressors uncompromising strength and durability even when used in full-auto mode. Innovative internal baffling is incorporated to give the SOCOM762-MINI2 a significant decrease in back pressure, cyclic rate and gas blowback, which yields a tremendous reduction in sound and dust signature, and virtually undetectable first- round flash when it matters most.
The SOCOM762-MINI2 also features the SureFire Fast-Attach® system, which allows for easy and reliable attachment or removal of the suppressor in seconds. And like every SureFire Fast-Attach suppressor model, you can count on the SOCOM762-MINI2 to produce minimal and consistent point-of-impact shift compared to that of an unsuppressed weapon.
Built for consistent performance and a long service life, every SureFire suppressor is proudly designed and manufactured in the USA.

Surefire
SureFire is a story of what can be accomplished with light. The tale begins in 1969 when an engineer with a Ph.D. from Cal Tech decided the future lay in lasers. Dr. John Matthews founded the Newport Corporation to harness the power of the laser for industrial applications. The SureFire WeaponLight was born, and low-light law enforcement and military operations would never be the same. In the years that followed, the technically superb, but expensive, laser-sighted firearms paved the way for future developments. Laser Products went on to establish itself as the leading manufacturer of rugged, powerful and compact illumination tools for tactical applications - from weapon-mounted lights and laser sights, shield lights and baton lights to hand-held lights powerful and bright enough to qualify as "force-option" tools that could temporarily blind, unbalance, and disorient a threat. Eventually the SureFire name became so synonymous with excellence in hand-held illumination tools that the company name, Laser Products, was changed to SureFire LLC.
